First I got all my stuff together. I have my own cooler filled with lambieables, chicken backables and a big marrow bone for late night munching.
And this is all my gear. Yes, I took my own dog bed and blankie. I have a backpack, 2 leashes and the super cool travel bowl Sophie sent me earlier this year. I am all SET!
See you girls! I probably won't miss you (maybe a little...NOT!)
And we're off! I am an excellent co-pilot. My exceptional sense of direction is much better than any GPS system on the market. I told Dad to just follow my nose.
OMDoG!! We're almost there. I am SOOOOOO excited!
This is the view from the deck of our super cool log cabin. You can see the lake a little. I have more pictures to post of the lake later. And video of me swimming.
OK...I'm not really happy in this picture because Mom insisted I pose and all I want to do is go hunting in the forest! There is a huge park a couple of minutes away and I'm ready to go NOW!
Now this is more like it!
I spread my pee mail all over the park.
I got to check out some waterfalls and bubbly water.
Mom & I stopped for a little rest...she gets tired pretty quickly.
Here's a little family portrait. See what a nice family...Mom, Dad & Sherman. Just like it should be. No white dog. No brown dog. Just a very handsome black dog.
For dinner the humans ate grilled steakables. I was such a good boy, all the ladies shared their some steak with me.
And at night, I just hung out on the deck and chewed on my bone.
I have more pictures from the trip to post later. Mom hasn't sorted through them all yet but will get to it later this week.
And I know I haven't been by to check out everyone's blogs...but I'll be making my rounds soon!!
