Miss Penny is just a weeee bit jealous of all of the attention Sherman & Lola have been getting lately.

PLUS! I have a super handsome Boyfriend named Peanut, a Spanish boyFriend named Pippa and lots of doggies want to be my BFF!! (Ethel & I have kind of a special connection though...we're fast, skinny, long-legged and have chubby, grumpy brothers).

So....NO Sherman OR Lola today. Just Penny. Shhhhesh! It's tough being the middle child. I feel like Jan Brady!

So a couple pups wanted to know about the secret present Tadpole sent me. I wasn't gonna tell, but figured I share everything else with you guys...why not? Plus you'll probably be a little jealous. And Divas love making people jealous.

Here it is. Tadpole sent me one of his sweaters!!! I do get a little cold in the winter because my fur is very short. I thought that was very considerate of him.

I sniffed it all over (and chewed on it a bit) and let me tell you...it smelled very manly. I couldn't wait to put it on!!!!

But there was one little problem.

Um, Tadpole? It doesn't fit.

Shoot!! Mom hung it in my jail so I could smell Tad all morning while I wait for her to come home. It's BETTER than a picture of him!!

So there it is. Sorry...I'm not very good a keeping secrets.

But with a face like this...who cares!!

And...Charlie & CoCo are back!!! Yeah! I thought when they moved to Kansas City they were leaving all of their blogger buddies behind. But they came back! Yahooie!

New Favorite Stuffie

So Sherman's absolute favorite toy is this giant hedgehog I bought him for Xmas. Unbelievably it's still intact. The grunter is gone, which is a good thing as he likes to throw it around at 11:30 at night & 5:00 in the morning.




But Tadpole sent him this new Moo Cow toy that he is obsessed with. Not only does he squeak it constantly, but he suckles on the ears & legs.

And he sleeps with it. I actually found him like this!!

Occasionally Lola will steal it.

But that crafty Sherman steals it right back & protects BOTH of his toys!

I've been trying to clean out my big deep freezer. It's like the Bermuda Triangle. I put stuff in, never to to find it again. You'll never guess what I found buried in the bottom of it???

Chicken Feet!

I bought these over a year ago from Hare Today & totally forgot about them. So I immediately defrosted them and the Dogs had a feast.

Doesn't that look yummy?????




Lola never quite knows what to do with them at first.


But she catches on quickly. Doofus face.
(yes, those are scissors I am picking them up with. I'm not touching those nasty things! No pup was harmed in the feeding of chicken feet.)

Penny has no problem and will crunch down a foot in about 3 seconds.

And Sherman...well let's just say it doesn't take him long either.

So if you Pups have never tried chicken feet, you MUST beg your folks for some!

Lord Stanley of the Republic of Gooberstan has tagged Sherman to name 5 things we would put in a time capsule for the benefit of future Dogs.

1. The Poop Bag Sack - Mom & Dad carry this on each & every walk to clean up after me. Poop Bag Sack = walkies!! Plus, it's essential to promote proper Poop Etiquette to future generations.

2. One of the many millions of moles I have killed for Mom's lunch.

3. A turkey neck...oh wait, that would mean I wouldn't have eaten it. Scratch that. A PICTURE of a turkey neck.

4. My giant hedgehog...I will spare him now that I have a new favorite toy thanks to T.P.

5. A giant ball of Sherman fur gently removed with the Furminator. Furminator = liver brownies. Brush away!!

The screen door leading onto the front deck is about 50 years old. We've been meaning to replace it for a while, but the Dogs gave us a reason get off our butts & just do it.

Someone must have jumped up on the door to tell off one of the neighbors and broke through.

"I didn't break the screen!"

"Well WE certainly didn't break the screen!!"

If I had to put money on it...I'd say it was the little white one.

Desperately seeking a BFF

Penny is very sad. Both Sherman & Lola have found their BFFs and she thinks there is no one out in bloggerdom that wants to be hers.



She would really like to find a best friend with a lot of the same qualities she has:

*She's very patient with both of them
*She hates cats

Tadpole knows me very, very well & sent me my most favorite things of all. Tennis Balls! Giant ones too. And a brand new Giggle Ball!! Yahoooie!

Ack!!

Sometime over the 4th of July weekend, Aliens invaded Jackman Ave & stole Sherman!! And they left me a Sherman clone. He looks like Sherman, acts like Sherman, eats like Sherman....but it's not him!

And I have proof!!!
