The tree in our backyard EXPLODED! The whole place is covered in yellow leaves and our big tree is naked.

It makes spotting Mr. Squirrel much easier.

And provides lots of entertainment for my Mom.

I look like a clown.

An Award & Pressies!

This week started out great. Sherman, Penny & Lola and I got this great award from that sweet Mexican Diva, Lorenza, the Sophisticated Canadian Diva, Sophie La Brador and my Sista Diva in Crime, Ruby Bleu!

And it just kept getting better. I also got a big box of Barkday pressies from Ruby !!

Can you believe this haul of goodies?!?!?!

Ruby gets me...she really gets me. The whole thing is PINK!!! I just got finished reading about Joe & Tanner's new camo vests and I get this fantabulous pink camo bandanna! Boys, I can be your female companion on the next Ao4 mission. G.I. Joe...I can be your G.I. Jane! But I'm not shaving my head. I hardly have any furs to begin with.


I also got this bootiful pearl necklace to wear on one of my Internet dates with my Marvin.



And check out all these toys! They are all pink, of course and I think I spy some new tennis balls in there. Ruby, you must have known all of the ones I have now are covered in yard slime.

I've got a sweet new purse and crown when I feel like being a princess...which is pretty much all of the time.

Ummm...what is that? Does it involve the B word? Now I understand we have a holiday coming up but I see no reason for me to get a bath. I see a sprayer thingy so I'm hoping I can just get a quick mist and POOF! No Bath. Yes, let's go with that.

I've decided I'm going to share the Piggy Snout with Sherman because...well, you guys figure it out. Penny can share the Texas Taffy and I'll chow on the Moo Tube. Just because it's delicious...not because I resemble anything cow-like. I will share the Yummy Chummies with Penny because she's my bestest Chum. We love those things. Sherman may get to share too...he has to let me play with him first.

Thank you Miss Ruby Bleu! I love all of my presents!

And I just found out Mom is going to be home for SIX WHOLE DAYS! And...we have a giant 20 lb turkey in our fridge!!! Woot! What more could a girl ask for? Great friends, great food and her Mommy. I'm a lucky Diva.

The First Fire

I must admit, I'm not a big fan of the colder weather. I'm kinda skinny with short furs and prefer the temperature be in the 60s or above. However, I do love the cold for one special reason...

It's time to build a fire!!



As soon as I hear the crackle of flames, I park my butt right in front of the fireplace and warm myself.



Mom & Dad don't know how I stand it because it gets REALLY hot! But I love it.

And I've taught Lola to love it too. I thought she like to hang out there because she does whatever I do...

But I caught her in my spot all alone, so I guess it's a Boxer thing.

We are so LATE!

The deadline to submit photos for the DWBs 2008 calendar is tomorrow! We are really cutting it down to the wire & Mom made us pose all day to try & get a good shot.

She's losing it!

I can't believe Mom posted about my adventures on Saturday but left out the best part...the MEATABLES! Yes, running around with other dogs is very exciting but I know you guys are more interested in the good stuff.


So here it is! Our big chest freezer...filled with Raw Beefables, Liverables, Gizzardables, Lambables, Tripeables & Cornish Game Henables. And underneath that stuff are our chicken backables & turkey neckables. Hmmmm, looks like Mom snuck one of her pizzables in there too. Guess that means she has to share with us when she eats it.






We even had to stash some of the the stuff in the upstairs freezer. I know, I know...Mom & Dad don't have a lot of room for their stuff but hey...3 dogs, 2 humans. You guys do the math. Sherman & Penny may not have gone on the roadtrip with me, but I promised to share all the food I brought back with me so they said No Problem!

And She forgot to post this video so you could see how fast I can run!!

To make matters worse, Mom put my Barkday present from Seadra & Zoe in this box to open last weekend and FORGOT ABOUT IT!!! Something about getting her hair done & shopping for new clothes for work. Priorities Mom!

So anyway...those sweet little sisters sent me a great present! They must know how much I like chasing balls b/c they sent me TWO...probably one for each year I've been alive. They also sent a sqeaky stuffy bone & a big bag of Chicken Jerky. I'm supposed to share the jerkey with Penny & Sherman.

Ummmm, I don't think so! Not after Penny stole THIS ball.

And Sherman stole THIS ball.

I'm just gonna lay here & chew on my stuffie. I'll let you guys think of ways to make it up to me. If they're good enough...I MIGHT share my jerky.

Oh, and I know I've been hogging the blog a lot lately...but don't worry, Sherman & Penny will be back later this week with some updates for you.

My Roadtrip!

The bad news is...I didn't get to go to Camp Bow Wow today. But the good news is...I went on a road trip with Mom!! Bright & early this morning she said "Come on Lola...let's take a ride!" I love the car and I'm an excellent passenger. I just hang out in the back seat.

So we drove for a while but when I saw this sign, I started to get a little nervous.


Ohio??? Isn't where the mean people left Tanner? Is Mom taking me to Ohio to leave me there? Aaaaaaaack!

Mom said "Now Lola...would I ever give you up?" and I said No, of course not 'cuz I'm perfect. Then Mom told me we were going to a Meat Factory! It's this really cool place called A Place for Paws and they have a daycare center and they make special food for dogs. Raw Meatables!!

It was PAWSOME!! They have a huge play yard with Agility equipment and fun stuff to climb on.

And I got to run & play with other dogs.

I really liked these 2 greyhounds. They chased me all over the place!

We stayed for a couple of hours & then it was time to leave. Mom said we get to go back in 2 months and I can't wait!

But playing is exhausting.

FALL...back!

So this past weekend we turned the clocks back. What that means to me is:

1) It's getting colder
2) It gets dark early
3) All the leaves change colors
4) Mom makes me pose for pictures 'cuz the leaves compliment my furs.

I guess it's not so bad. I dig Fall.

MNF & Pressies from Singapaw!!

Our boys in Black & Gold play those Baltimore Losers tonight in Monday Night Football! We are are ready for you Dirty Birds!

While Penny & Lola would make pretty good wide receivers and I would make a stellar running back (just like my favorite guy, The Bus), we look like a pretty tuff Steel Curtain when we have on our game faces.

We're gonna send you stupid Ravens back to Baltimore in a bunch of broken little pieces!!

Now, on to more important things. I got Pressies from Singapaw!! Everyone's favorite hamster, Girl Girl sent me a bootiful bandana and Sunshine stuffie! She must know I'm just like a ray of sunshine.

Sorry, GG...I had to rearrange Sunny's face a little.

And that cool little dude, Huskee Boy sent me a big box of goodies! Yummy treats & stuffies...and I guess I'll share with Sherman & Penny.



Penny just loves those Salmon Snacks and I guess I'll let Sherman share the Cheese Sticks. He can have...one. I LOVE cheese!

But guess which toy I liked the bestest??? Yep, that's right...the TENNIS BALL! And it's on a rope!

Come On! Let me at it.

I'll roll it...

Presents from the Brat Pack!

What a great barkday! I got so many presents in the mail I can hardly believe it!! I am one lucky dog, let me tell you. I only get to open one package at a time so you'll get to see them all sometime this week.

Before I get to the fantastic presents from The Brat Pack, I wanted to show you the little cake my Mom made just for me! It's ground lamb & veggies. And let me tell you...it was heavenly!



OK, now for my presents! I got this giant box filled with goodies.


Just look at all this loot! Yummy PB Power Bones, a super fun strawberry Mom can fill up with cookies, a bouncy ball that will surely last longer than my tennis balls, a fat monkey that looks just like Sherman and a new purse!



Guess which one I liked the most??? A Diva can never have too many purses!

Penny also got something. She has a secret admirer named Tucker Doodle...don't worry Tucker...I didn't tell her it was from you.

It was a beautiful heart shaped stuffie filled with candy! I helped Penny pick out all the candy pieces, but we didn't break the heart. Don't worry. Here's a picture of Penny & her heart...pre-candy picking.

And even Sherman got something from his love bug, Dot Spot. She sent him this little love note...couldn't you just gag at the sweetness of it all???


But he's happy and now all he plays with are Pink Piggie & Cuddly Wuddly Bear!

I did get to open all of my cards & just look how thoughtful everypup (and hamster) are! They're all PINK!! Thank you to Ruby & Jackson for the e-cards.
