Enuf with the Pawties!!

Christmas is definitely one of my favorite times of year. First of all, it was when I came to live with my family 2 years ago. And we get lots of presents and visitors. And Mom bakes special Xmas cookies for all of our doggie friends. And Mom and Dad spend extra time at home hanging out with us.

It's that last part I'm taking a bit of an issue with. I've noticed on other blogs that all the pawrents have been going to lots of pawties without their favorite 4 legged friends. Mitchy even got so fed up with his pawrents gallivanting all over the place without him, that he ripped up his favorite bed!

I have also noticed that Mom & Dad have been spending a lot of time with their friends...eating delicious foodables, mind you...WITHOUT US!

Evidence found on Mom's camera. There's my Dad...at a special dinner...with lots of my human friends. Where am I in this picture? Where is Sherman? Where is Penny? We're at home!!

This is my Auntie J.Law. and my Auntie Rachel. Auntie J. Law has TWO puppies growing in her belly!! And they are both boy puppies. I'm trying to convince her to name them Sherman and Tadpole after my brother and my BFF...but she said she already knows one Sherman so that would be weird. Taddy, there's still hope for you! Auntie Rachel is the one with the pretty yellow hair. I like her a lot because she's kind of a Diva too.

She likes Sherman the most though because he's old and chubby and doesn't jump on her. That is how I say I LOVE YOU...by jumping on you and kissing you on the face!

But guess who Auntie Kristen likes the best. Yep, ME! She's is the bestest snuggler...next to Mom & Dad, of course.

So, in a nutshell...I'm sick of all of these stupid pawties that I don't get to attend. I haven't destroyed anything, YET, but if Mom & Dad keep this up...they better hid their shoes!

On a side note, our new friends Rosie & Abby over at The Dog Log are looking for stories of rescued dogs to publish on their site. Sherman submitted his story yesterday...go on over & read all about it!

Hey Lola girl...guess my mom isn't pupular enough because she hasn't gone to any pawties. That explains the lonely Christmas card too I guess. That's ok...I want her all to myself anyway.

Lots of Licks, Ruby

Pawties?!!

I think I have seen a trend at our place too. What is going on? How could pawties be fun without us? And how can Babs drink Champagne without MEEE!???

You look like you have a wonderful bunch of holiday gatherers. SO FUN!I hope you got plenty of extra snuggles.

If there must be so many pawty for your pawrents to go to, they should have the pawty at home so that all their friends can get to know you guys better.

Peeesss: How is your daddy's dad? Has he been discharged yet?

Mom and dad have yet another pawty to attend tonight! I had hoped that I taught them a lesson last time they were gone but I guess not! We need to put plan B into action tonight! I'm just fed up! I totally understand just how you guys feel!

Mitch

I was only able to smooch on Penny under the mistletoe Dangit!
Well, my mom, like Ruby's hasn't gone to many Christmas parties either, so I am lucky that way
PS: My ex-girlfriends name was Lola. She is now my ex cause she kept jumping the fence and now she's lives far away in the country.

I do not understand you dogs. The best time of the day is when the humans are missing from the house. More time to plan my escape.

Ha roo! Sorry we haven't been able to visit lately - Mom's been "busy" and doesn't let us use the computer without her here. I don't know why not. It's not like we'd grab her plastic card, go to PetsMart dot com and order a bunch of cool stuff or anything. Hmm... come to think of it ... maybe we WOULD! Ha roooo!
Hey, we have an Aunt Rachel, too - and she has yellow hair! Maybe we're related!
Play bows!

I don't like parties anymore either. My humans are out at these parties way to much now! And guess what? They're even going to one on Christmas day! And I'm gonna be home stuck with just the cats! It's horrible!

I like it when the party is at MY house because I can chew on shoe strings when no one is looking. I have to be careful that I don't get stepped on, though.

But yeah...when the parties are other places & I'm stuck home alone...that's the worst.

Thankfully our Mom isn't as popular as yours - she's only gone to a couple then learned her lesson. Your Aunties all look pretty nice....but TWO puppies?! I don't know about that.

PS Dot said Sherman's not chubby, he's just full of love....like her.

Oh my dog how exciting that there's a hooman pup going to be named after MEEEEE!!!

On another note, my girl isn't nearly as well-liked as your parents... she hasn't been to a single pawty. HAAA!!! That's the way I LIKE it!

A well placed stain can communicate in ways that barks never could. Think about it. Your aunts are boootiful!

This pawty thing seems to be happening everywhere around the world. Safe to say, I'm going thru the same thing too. *sighz* I feel your pain.

I guess it maybe would be ok if they brought you doggy bags filled with the good foodables they were eating!

Hi, Lola!
Like Ruby's and Tad's moms, mine has not gone to a single party!
Snowball's advice sounds good. Tell your mom and dad to make all the parties at your home! You won't be alone and you will have lots of attention and treats and everything!
Kisses and hugs

My humans haven't gone to any parties. My Mom said that it feels like we have a party in our house every night when she wakes up to see more dishes, more laundry, and more mess with our house guests.

We are very excited for Christmas and hope you have a wonderful time with your family!

I don't get how it's a party without US. Yeesh. I think Wally is a great name for boy pups. My granny says that if my ma ape was a boy pup they would have named her Igor which would have been like totally cool so that's an option too. Tadpole and Igor!

Hi Lola girl,
Yeah this is a tough season for us pups when we are left out of all those pawties!
I overheard that my pawrents are going to a Christmas eve pawty and they don't plan to bring me along.. I am now planning what damage I'll do while they are enjoying.

I've been lucky so far HM and HD have only had parties during the day so they've still been home at night - lets hope it continues that way!

Lola Girl!

I want to know which of your aunties loves Penny best, hmmm? There's probably a list a mile long I bet.

You and I show love in the EXACT same way. I jump and nose-poke hoomans when I'm really excited about them. My girl wants to tone me down a little, but I say, SHOW THE LOVE!!

Hope your mama & dad get the message. I'd hate to see what you are capable of doing to someone's shoes!

Goober love,
Stanley

Sweet Lola Princess Diva Sprout Beyonce!!

You have inspired my girl to give me a full and proper name. You're so perty, just like your name. I'm revealing my name to you, now, so you can tell me what you think.

Here it is: Stella Bean Latifah! I REALLY like it, and hope you think it fits me. I've always thought your name was so unique, so that's where the bean part came in. Latifah was one of the names my girl had on her original list of possible names for me (she LOVES Queen Latifah - I'm a fan too).

Gooby love & lots of kissies,

Yeah, what's up with the constant pawtying? They have the nerve to ration our food and treats and then they go out and eat and drink whatever they want? WTD?

Luckily, most of the pawties they go to are usually doggie pawties. They don't like going to pawties when doggies are not involved, oh yeah...And that's GOOD!

Yep that just isn't right them running off and leaving you behind. Our humans took almost 2 weeks off so we should be pretty spoiled by the time they have to go back to work. I have not heard of any talk of going to a party!! Ya they are staying home with us!!

Hey Lola, You have great aunties! Maybe your mom and dad will have a big party at your house, so you won't need to go, because you'll already be there.

So guess what?! I got your package. Holy moly, was I surprised! It is full of some really great stuff. Mom said the book was a loaner, but does that mean the chicken feet are loaners too? Do I have to give them back?

Mom won't let me have anything fun like chicken feet until I am all better and we know what is wrong with my liver, so it's a good thing they are all dehydrated. Mom also thinks they are the most freaky, disgusting things on earth, but she just doesn't get it. She's such a fussy eater.

She will do a proper post about your great xmas package really soon.

Thank you! thank you! thank you! And Merci beaucoup aussi!

Have a great holiday, and send a big ho ho ho and some smoochies to Sherm and Penny.
