You guys know she can't resist my jowly face. OK, these are pretty easy to make and OH so delicious. I know your folks will make them for you guys too.
Two ingredients...plain yogurt and canned TRIPE!! Mom says you could use a can of dog food too, but that's not nearly as much fun. Mom tried to make Nanook & Pooka's recipe for us last year (with the PB & banana) and Princess Penny didn't like them. She's strange...
Add about 8 oz of plain yogurt...
Pour it into little containers.
And pop it in the freezer!
Now, as the next 8 hours might be the longest of your life, make sure you convince your Mom to let you lick the spoon...
Sherman got to clean out the bowl (we don't know why this picture is sideways...but we can't figure out how to fix it.)
Penny helped him finish up.
Tick, Tock...Tick, Tock...Tick, Tock. DING!!! They're finally done! They are even delicious on the outside.
Sherman says "Get this stinkin' lid off!!!"
Thank you...
Penny is such a dainty princess. She just takes teeny little licks...
I, on the other hand, shove my whole head in there.
All gone!
Took us about 2 minutes to finish them up!
Hope you guys can convince your pawrents to make you some Frosty Paws this weekend!

We have never had that tripe stuff. Grammie is old so her smeller probably wouldn't even notice an odor. She will have to make us some.
Good evening lola.
The made time hangs , yogurt ..do and do not put it together...
However, the eaten time is a few.
Please come peacefully in kitchen on a wonderful weekend. :)

WooHoo!
Those look super deelish!
I saw mom take saw livers out of the freezer yesterday - I will suggest to her a liver/yogurt frosty paws!
And Lola, YOU, my dear, have the cutest jowls ever!
cool and smelly
What could be better?
Looks like there are some other things to raid in your freezer. Witty Kitty will definitely help out on this project.
Lucky dogs!!! Mom is appropriately adding to your post vacation fun.

That sounds like a super yummy recipe! My Mommy makes them for me with soygurt and peanut butter. I'll have to work on convincing her to add meat!
Poppy
WOw! Those look really yummy!
Great pic of you Lola!
Kisses, Sky boy
We can get fresh tripe out here, I wonder if she could stick that in the food machine and mix it all up?! That looks sooo yummy!
My Momma buys me the same brand of tripe. But she's never thought of using it to make Tripe frosty paws.
Thanks for the recipe.
Princess Eva
Ooo, that recipe sounds pawsome. I think that J1 will have to put a peg on her nose though!
Hey guys,
What's tripe?? From your faces, it sure looked good, but I like it when Mama makes frosty paws with yogurt and fruity baby food.
C-ya,
Murphy Dogg
Our lazy dad hasn't even made the PB ones yet! But he brought us bully sticks so we forgive him. Glad you got such a great treat!
woo hoo, thanks for that recipe - and right before mom is going to the store. canned tripe sounds so yummy. thanks for the warning for our mom, she is so squeamish about all of the stinky stuff that we love.
woofs.
Those look pawsomely yummy.
~ Girl girl
Your momma is so good to give you the stinky food. Sinkier is better, I say.
Slobbers,
Mango
I wrote down the recipe and I am going to insist we get some. Smelly tripe sounds wonderful. Not sure I can get my mom to buy it. She is upset by all the wonderful garbage we walk by in the ally behind our house. Maybe we can freeze it.
Deefor
This week is supposed to be cooler here so I'm going to convince Mom AND Grandma to make some for us next weekend! I saw that your recipe made 4 containers, but there's only 3 of you. Did you share the 4th one with your Mom?
Kaos
lola, i still remember last year your jenn introduce us the frosty paws.
wet wet licks
Boo
I've not tasted tripes before. But it sounds really yummy.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooo...I'm drooling...a lot! I get the Frosty Paws that my human buys for me from the store. She say's it's expensive and I go through 4 containers quickly...I will have to talk to her about some home made Frosty Paws.
That tribe sounds like it smells absolutely delicious!
You're mom is a genious!
Slurp!
Mr. T-Bone Beasley
We thought it sounds good but Jan said, over my dead body! So guess we'll stick with yogurt and banana frozen treats.
But glad you guys enjoyed.
purrs and tail wags
nice recipe, now master must do it!
I read this to my mommy too and she said it sounds like a good idea since it's really warm here. Mommy had to look up what tripe was to make sure it isn't liver. She won't let me eat liver (she is a part time nurse and knows what goes on in livers). After she found out it was cow stomach, she said "oh, you can have that, I eat that sometimes." I can't wait until she make it for me! Hopefully, daddy won't ban it from the house because of the smell. Thank you for the recipe!

Just popped by sweetness Lola, to blow you a kiss from your old boyfriend, Marvin.
I am sorry to have gone so quickly from the blogs, I was not sure whether I was welcome here after I left so suddenly, but I saw your comment on dear Wally's Blog and had to come over to say hello!
Mucho love and licks, you are looking as beautiful as ever, Lola babes.

Wow, those must be a hit! I've made the PB/Banana ones but this tripe recipe sounds good even if it is smelly. :)
