Hey Sherman, Bummer your mom won't let you keep the mole. I keep trying to get the giant, fat groundhog that lives in my yard, but he's suprisingly fast. However, I've learned not to stick my face down his house-hole, cause he almost bit my face off. C-ya, Murphy Dogg
Hi Sherms, I have never even SEEN such a creature. Are they anything like squirrels? Cause one of my life goals is to catch a squirrel when momma isn't looking and feast away!!

PeeS: Lola, Mom & Dad saw an itsy bitsy tiny pitty bull puppy this past Sunday with markings just like YOURS!! CUTE!
The ONLY thing that interests me is raccoons and Mom says that I'm "retired" from coon-hunting. Squirrels, cats, lizards and toads don't move me at all. I've never seen a mole, but I'm guessing since it doesn't go UP a tree, it's not in my book!
Sherman...yer sure a good doggie there gettin' those moles...my Mom likes ta get 'em too but she's not interested in eatin' them...they're no more fun after they stop squeakin'....guess they remind Mom of a squeak toy til their squeaker is broken. Then in the garbage they go too.. cause she just walks away 'n leaves 'em...
I asked my Mom about moles and she said if I ever caught any, she would first do the same thing your Mom does, except she would get Dad to throw it away. Sasha did catcha squirrel once and that's exactly what Mom did. She says she still has nightmares about it. Personally, I think Mom is a little overdramatic! Kaos
Hi, Sherman! Mole? A red and hot sauce with chicken? You know, mexican food. I've never seen a mole in my life but sure is fun to catch one! Too bad your mom took it away from you! Kisses and hugs Lorenza
Friendzees...I'm back!!! I know I know..worst buddy ever and I'm sorry. Looks like you all are definitely enjoying the warm weather!!! Missed ya bunches!
All that work and so little reward! I hear ya. We beagles here are great mousers (weird, I know!) and when I catch one after a great fast chase my mom makes me give it up. Bummer.
Edgar left one of those in the front yard one time. It had funny little feet. I think someone put it in the garbage. Did you mom knock you on the head to get it out of your mouth. Grammie does that to Edgar when he gets stuff he shouldn't.
Mole hunting?! That looks very fun, Sherman! We don't have those around... at least I haven't seen them. I hunt for delicious leaves and sticks in my yard. Love Clover xo P.S. I LOVE the first picture of Lola from the last post!
Sorry, no moles but Tasha used to catch rabbits. Let's just say that they were a pound or two lighter when they went to sleep in the neighbors yard. And yes, Dad would have to go clean-up.
One of my Boston friends, Tigger, catches birds (live or dead, doesn't matter...) and brings them into the house to feast on them in secret hiding places. The key is to get inside without your mom seeing you. Tigger's mom sat down on a dead bird stuffed into the back of their couch one time. It was AWESOME! I bet you heard her scream way over there?!
Holy cow, do you really catch the mole? That is so cool! It's too bad your Mom tosses it out. I've never caught anything, but I would love to. I keep stalking the bunnies and squirrels around here. Someday I'll get one, someday.
