The Dogs of Jackman Avenue reporting for duty! We're a little late but that's better than never, right??
I've got my Diva Camo bandana on...
And Opy's Dad fitted us up with the proper helmets to head into battle!

We're pulling for ya, little buddy!

I'm passing it on to the dude that aways makes me smile, my BFF Mr. Corgador. And my best girl, Dot-Spot. And my sweet young Diva, miss Stella Bean Latifah
The Canine Kids also recognized us as Bloggers of the World!

This is a super cool & special award! One of the greatest things about being part of DWBs is "meeting" other Dogs from all over the world. We may be global, but it still feels like one happy little family. So we're passing this onto some of our favorite international blogging buddies:
Pippa in Spain
Momo & Pinot in Canada
The Wigglebutts in Norway
Marvin in Scotland
Amber in Malaysia
Harry & Cassidy in England
Hammer & Crew in Oz
Lorenza in Mexico
and Huskee in Singapore
Speaking of Huskee...you guys may recall he has a little wedding coming up in the near future. He has accepted my offer to help plan the bachelor pawty and let me tell you...it's gonna be a blow out! Stan, do you think you could sweet talk Ruby into letting us borrow the jet to fly to Singapaw? I'm thinking cigars, poker, chickenbacks & bully sticks...and I'm gonna try to get some hotties from the PlayDog Mansion to come & provide the entertainment. Hubba Hubba! All DWB boyz are invited.
The game is on late tonight (8:00 p.m. Mom & I are usually getting ready to go to sleep by then!). I'm taking a little nap so I'm fresh & rested & ready to cheer on our Black & Gold.

Mom has this special picture taken a couple of years ago of our Boys. It's called Our Father and was taken by a great local photographer Mom met last year at work. He takes pretty pictures. We all gave it a good luck lick tonight...hope we don't need it!

HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!!!!!!
(pee ess...to the creepy weirdo that left the anonymous comment about the Patriots...it's been deleted as you're a big fat loser. If you want to trash talk, email us. Otherwise, keep your punk ass, cowardly comments to yourself. Thanks, tough guy.)

Mom is giving me medicine in my ears (which I do NOT like at all!) and it's making them less itchy. And I've gotten to sleep outside my jail a few nights while they heal. I think this should be a permanent arrangement but Mom says I'm a bed hog so I'll probably be a jail bird for a while.
Has this ever happened to any other pup's floppy ears????

The oven doesn't work but thats OK. Mom can still do all of her cookie making in her kitchen. There is plenty of counter space for food prep.

She now has an organized place for all her Bark Magazines & Whole Dog Journals. And she can leave out our food killing machine. Mom & Dad bought their own food killer b/c she says killing liver has made their first one yucky. Yucky for whom??
We have a nice organized space now for our our canned meatables, tripeables and fishables.
We have our own fridge for storing our yogurt, eggies and cottage cheese, as well as thawing meatables.

Mom keeps the meatables in a big plastic bin so the juice doesn't get all over the fridge. I have always offered to clean up any mess by hand (or in my case, tongue) but she's says "No Shermie, that's OK. Thanks though".
Here are our thawing chicken backables, gizzardables, turkey neckables and a big fat beef heart. MMMMMMmmmmmmm!

I have agreed to let Mom & Dad store their brown fuzzy water in MY fridge on one condition...they've gotta keep my brew in there too.

So that's our new & improved Dog Kitchen! I'm pretty psyched about it and Mom is happy because it's not a giant eye sore anymore. And if Mom is happy...Sherman's happy.
We wish all of our doggie, hamster, kitty and hooman friends a Super Duper 2008 filled with happiness, good health and all the bully sticks you can eat!!!
Keeping up with my resolution to be nicer to my sisters, I'll post this picture of Lola for you guys. Mom says she looks cute in it. Whatever...I'd like my extra chicken back now please.

Next week I'll be nice to Penny.
He's eating one of my Moo Tubes!!!! Looks like he's enjoying himself.
Anyway, we got to open our first presents tonight. We got so many, we get a couple each day for the rest of the week!! Lola & I got a big honking hedgehog. We always share presents.
Because we have so much fun wrasslin' with them.
Somehow, I always end up on the bottom of the pile.

Sherman got a bunny rabbit! It looks freakishly like the real thing. He prefers to play by himself as he can be a giant grouch about his toys.

But he's OK with that. Obviously.

Christmas is Pawesome!!
We hope everypup (and hamster and kitty) had a fantastic Christmas filled with all of their favorite things!

We put out our favorite liver brownies for Santa with a special holiday brew.
He'll have to wait till he gets back to the North Pole to try it...No drinking & Sleighing!

And finally we lit a special Holiday candle for all of our DWB friends. We are so blessed to be part of the most wonderful and supportive community in the whole wide Internet. We truly cherish all of the friendships we've made...both canine, feline, hamsterrier and hooman. We hope each & every one of you have the bestest holiday ever.

Now how many hours till we get to open Pressies???

This is my Auntie J.Law. and my Auntie Rachel. Auntie J. Law has TWO puppies growing in her belly!! And they are both boy puppies. I'm trying to convince her to name them Sherman and Tadpole after my brother and my BFF...but she said she already knows one Sherman so that would be weird. Taddy, there's still hope for you! Auntie Rachel is the one with the pretty yellow hair. I like her a lot because she's kind of a Diva too.
She likes Sherman the most though because he's old and chubby and doesn't jump on her. That is how I say I LOVE YOU...by jumping on you and kissing you on the face!

But guess who Auntie Kristen likes the best. Yep, ME! She's is the bestest snuggler...next to Mom & Dad, of course.

So, in a nutshell...I'm sick of all of these stupid pawties that I don't get to attend. I haven't destroyed anything, YET, but if Mom & Dad keep this up...they better hid their shoes!
On a side note, our new friends Rosie & Abby over at The Dog Log are looking for stories of rescued dogs to publish on their site. Sherman submitted his story yesterday...go on over & read all about it!
Just look at all of the cards we've received!! Our DWBs Xmas Card door is almost filled up!! This has been so much fun and we're so glad we participated this year!
We are so much more popular than our pawrents.

The award says: "Life is like Hell without FRIENDS. It's ‘World Best Friend Week’. Send this to your best friends to let them know you appreciate them. Please take this award, and place it on your blog if you wish.

1. When Lola turns into a spaz & licks me in my mouth & jumps on me.
2. When Mom & Dad make me get off the big bed at night & sleep on the floor.
3. When I try to play with my stuffies at 3:00 in the morning & no one will wake up to tug with me.
4. The mailman.
5. Having to sit & wait to eat my food....it's in my bowl, on the floor, ready to go. What's the point in waiting????
6. The Furminator
7. Sharing my house with Penny & Lola
OK...that's it for now. Sorry it took us so long to do our Tags. I know we're supposed to Tag other pups but I think most other dogs have been Tagged. But just in case...I'll hit our new friends Tatum Tot, Peanuthead & Snoop Dog. Pick a Tag..any Tag!
