Gardening - Ick!

I got all of the plants in the ground last weekend & the perennials we have planted are filling out. The backyard is actually taking shape.

This tub was here when we moved in and in mid summer, the impatiens are full & lush.

If I can keep Lola from digging all the plants out like she did last year.

And how am I rewarded for the all of my hard work????

With a wicked case of poison ivy!!! (That would be my arm, BTW).

And the dogs want eveypup to know that they helped too. They worked on improving the holes they started last summer.

Actually, Sherman just hung out & supervised.

Oh, no, not poison ivy! Actually, my mom says she's never had it, but it looks very painful! :(

How nice of you doggies to help mom out ;)

OOOHHH - my human is so envious!!

Not of the poison ivy, the garden!! Hope the rash feels better soon!!

We have a yard but it really isn't big enough to do any real gardening - the down side of urban life.

Sorry to hear about the pooping - I didn't poop but I did tip the trash three times so I am the prisoner of alcatraz too!

Have a happy week guys - Love Dory

Eeek, your arm looks painful! Your yard looks awesome though so it's worth it. How do you keep everything looking good with the dogs? Anything living is doomed here.

Oh gee - my girl won't stop gushing about how much she loves that bathtub with the flowers in it.... I told her the holes that you guys dug were much more impressive!

And that's some nasty poison ivy - hope it feels better soon!

My vote goes to Sherman, that's the right way to garden.

We hope your arm is feeling better.
