Princess Penny Wiggles...the peacemaker

My, my, my...haven't my brother & sister gotten themselves into quite the predicament??? I've tried to tell them. Suck it up and just get along. But that little white dog is quite the stubborn b*tch.

They need to be more like me...sweet & peaceful. I stay out of trouble.

So I wanted to thank you guys for being such great friends and making Mom & Dad feel better. Mom's eyes have been pretty leaky...and no matter how many times I snort in her face, show her my wiggly kidney bean dance or give her nose kisses, I can't cheer her up like you guys can. She even got these beautiful flowers from my BFF and her family and that REALLY made her smile!

And then we got this great Friendship award from
Georgeous

And this Brillante Blog award from Eva (and Brice).

You guys rock!!! We couldn't ask for better friends.

Soooooo, you all probably want to know what's going on. Well, here's the deal.

Sherman is going to stay with Grandma & Grandpap for a couple of weeks. They're not going keep him forever because they have a lot of stuff on their plate. And Baron keeps them on their toes. So while he's away, Lola has to go to the V.E.T. (shhhhh, don't tell her, she doesn't know yet) to make sure there's nothing wrong with her thyroid or anything else, for that matter. And Mom's friend Lilian, who is a trainer from Animal Friends is going to come to our house and put us on a training program. Now I know this sounds kinda crappy, but Lilian is pawesome and always has lots of great, smelly treats with her. Training = liver brownies. W00T! You're all probably thinking...doesn't your Mom do this training stuff too? Well, yes she does, but she wants an outside observer to see if she's missing anything. Another set of eyes never hurts apparently.

If everything goes OK and Lola doesn't become Miss Bitchy pants with me (and I will kick her little white butt if she does...I don't start the fights, but I DO finish them!) then she & I will live happily ever after on Jackman Ave forever. And if not...um, we don't want to talk about that.

Now what about Sherman?? Well, don't feel too bad for him. He's going to be living with our Auntie Kristen when she moves into her new house next month!! Mom is super excited because it's only 5 minutes from our house and we can see him a couple times a week. Or everyday, if we want!!! See, here's the thing...I actually kinda like Sherman. Sometimes when Mom & Dad aren't looking, I give him kisses and try to get him to play with me...not that he ever does. But I'd like to go see him sometimes too.

So that's the plan for now. Subject to change at any point, of course. If you guys could all cross your paws that it works, you'd make my day! And Sherman's. And Lola's.

Oh, and this is for Joe Stains...Go Stillers! Sorry Ethel.

That sounds like such a great plan. We're so glad that Sherman can go live somewhere you can still see him and that Lola doesn't have to go to a new home. Penny, I bet this plan was all your idea, right? Smart thinking!

Penny,
You are such a doll. I know your mom and dad really appreciate your peacemaking qualities. I too am the pacemaker at my house. I live with two b*tches!

This sounds like a GREAT plan! It's really wonderful that Sherman will be with Auntie Kristen! And just 5 minutes away! Ha rooo!
The trainer sounds like a wonderful idea, as does the vet visit. The trainer may well see something your mom and dad don't or just have another idea for them to try! And hey, it's liver brownies, you know?!!?
Good luck, Penny! You all are doing great!

It sounds like your mom is trying to work out a good plan for everyone. I think sometimes it's good for someone else to come over and see and also make sure Lola is healthy. Glad Sherman will be close by.

Arrow is our peemaker-- sorry I meant peacemaker.

Oh we are so happy things are gonna work out. We just can't imangine Sherman not being with you full time but we don't want him to get hurt either. Maybe you can still post about him sometines or better yet, maybe Aunt Kristen will get Sherman his own blog. It broke the Mommy's heart when she had to give up my brothers but the good thing is I get to see them and they are still my brothers, even if they aren't with me.

LOVE...mONA & THE mOMMY TOO!!

Penny! You are such a doll. Mom still thinks you are just the cutest. And of course, I see your quiet divaness. I'm so glad about this new plan. It sounds ideal for you! Give Sherm a giant smoochie for me and tell Lola that I hope her thyroid is okay.

It all must be quite difficult for your poor mum but you've got a plan in place and that's the main thing. We wish you all the luck with the training..good idea. We hope there is nothing wrong with Lola and that the training will really help.

Sounds like you have a good game plan. Princess Penny Wiggles, give that girl a good talking to! Hopefully it is something as simple as her thyroid.

Penny, you have such a hard job being peacemaker and taking care of mom. Hope you take some time out for yourself.

Tell Lola to get her act together already.

Sherman is going to have so much fun getting to visit with his relatives. Plus he'll be close by so you can see him too.

We've been thinking about woo! It sounds like the best case scenario for all. We hope some behavioral mod and some vet checks can help Lola get past whatever is bugging her.

Oh! My! Dog! I'm so happy to hear that Sherman will be close to home. I hope the new trainer can help--it's amazing what other people can see sometimes. Penny, you're a great lady and I'm glad that you are there to help keep the peace. But I have a favor to ask of you. I'd like you to give Sherman some kisses from me and then I'd like you to help your leaky mom by giving her some kisses from me, too. But my breath is a little stinky so to recreate Wallysmooches accurately you may need to eat a little fish or something first.

ps. It's ok if you root for the Stealers--it's only preseason! :)

Let me tell you something. I don't EVER want to see any pup have to tangle with you, sista! I have NO DOUBT that you get the job done if somedog tries to mess with you.

Goober love & smooches,

Whew...we've been worrying and worrying bout you guys...seems like this is a FAB solution. Especially, being that Sherman's gonna be soo close that you can go and visit!!!!

We can only imagine how tough this was for all of you. Now, Penny...this was a brilliant plan of yours...ya need to offer ur services to the next President for the Middle East situation.

We totally agree bout havin' a trainer comin' in an eyein' ya in ur housie...sometimes it's easier for someone unbiased to see things that might help out!

Hugs to feisty Lola too...we know she can't help herself...it's tough being the alpha you know what...I can so identify...Mumsie sez it's a good thing I don't weigh more than my 12 lbs cuz I'm rather ferocious...

Love to all of ya!

That sounds like a great plan, Penny. Plus you are even going to score liver brownies. It doesn't get much better than that!

Maybe Sherman can come over for "sleep overs" sometimes when all the dust settles and you can get some snuggly time with him too. That would be great. Oh, and tell the Shermanator Happy Gotcha Day for us!!
