Trip with Mom to the Park

This is such a beautiful time of year in the 'burgh. All of the leaves are changing into beautiful colors and the temperature is perfect.

So I said, Hey Mom! Let's go to the Park!!

Mom put me on this super long leash so I'd have room to run and explore. I blend in wit h the leaves so well...bet you can't even find me in this picture!

So why do I have to be on a leash at all? Weelllllll, there are lots & lots of deer roaming around the park this time of year. And I have excellent radar...I spot them from a mile away and point them out.

I see one!

I see another one!

And I would chase them if given the chance. Hence the leash. Mom has some crazy, irrational fear of me getting hooved to death. Whatever.

I found a nice spot for some roaching...in a big pile of stinky stuff. Please ignore her stupid voice...

There were so many leaves covering the trail, we almost got lost! But I sniffed out the way...

I say...let's go RIGHT!

I also got to run in a big field and burn off some steam. I LOVE to run!!!

It was the perfect day at the park. I love spending time with my Mom...without the little white maniac tagging along.

This picture is for you, Peanut!

Wow it took some serious squinting to spot you in that first picture! You blend in just pawfectly with those beautiful Autumn (Fall) Colours.

I have one of those long leashy things too.. similar reason.. Mum has this irrational fear of me being stampeded by Mongoose while we are in the woods .. wait!! there are NO Mongoose in England.. hmm I guess it's just Mum being irrational.. period!

You look great pretty girl.

Love and tailwags,

Ben xxx

PeeeS.. If you think your Mom's voice is stupid you should hear my Mum's!!!

The leaves at your park are very colorful, looks like a wonderful place to walk, must say a little jealous.

Wow! Look at all those leaves. I never knew you were leave colored. You could be one of those lizards that blends in with its surroundings.

What a fun time in the park! I bet that stinky stuff was wonderful! That last picture is a very good one. Looks like Peanut liked the picture! hehe

I kind of blend in with the leaves too. All the better to sneak up on those deer. You and I would never get hooved to death. We are too lightening fast on our footsies, don't you think. Mom's are irrational about this sort of thing. We have to humour them, I guess.

What beautiful leaves! Fall is such a pretty time of the year. I loved watching you run fast in the field. Woooooo!

Those are some wonderful pictures. We don't have any deer here in Texas at least in our area. We understand that they are very destructive in Austin Texas..

It does look like the most perfect day! Mom really misses fall in Western PA. Thanks for sharing the photos, she really loved them.

Any chance you have photos of Rita's Italian Ice?? ;)

Dexter here! We do that long leash thing sometimes too. For the most part, it feels like I am free, but it keeps momma from freaking out when I get too far away. Nice day for walkies!

Looks like you had a great time out there. Autumn leaves pictures look so much better with a dog in them.

Oh Penny, I am so jealous... what a great run in a beautiful place. Where did your mom get that long leash? How long is it? I just HAVE to get one. My mom has this irrational fear too that I'm going to chase a squirrel and never come back... well, ya never know ... seriously, did you get it online?

Penny...I swear the leaves aren't that pretty at North Park...it was so dry this summer that they don't seem as colorful as usual...and today WAS FREEZING!!

Hey,did you mom find any updates on Choo Choo? Let us know...we're thinkin' bout and prayin' for her, poor Puppers...

Love ya lots...

You look so sweet in the picture of you wanting to go right standing the the multi colered leaves. The leaves here just fall out the tree when they are brown & only. What a great job of roaching. There's nothing like a good roach.

Give everybody (((huggies))) from me and the Mommy too!!....Mona

G'day Penny

Yep I had trouble finding you in the first pic - all the colours were amazing in the other pics too!

That's a great looking park for a run :-)
