Foto Shoot Friday...Hello Springtime!

Just what are you dogs staring at????

"Something is up there!"

IT'S A SQUIRREL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, Sammy Squirrel has a nest in the big tree in our back yard & enjoys spending the better part of his day taunting the dogs.

"Oh Penny, just wait...he'll fall. He'll fall right out of that tree & into our mouths."

"Really??? Do you think?"

"Oh yes...he's gonna fall one of these days. And then we'll feast."

"He's moving!!!"

"Stupid Dogs...you'll never catch me!!"

Lola could care less. She's much more concerned about the tennis balls I bought her from the dollar bins at Target (all these...$2.50! Gotta love Target!)

"I'M SITTING!!!! Throw the stupid thing already!!"

Action shot...mid shake.

We hope Everypup has a fantastic weekend! Go hunt Squirrels!

I can't believe mom went to Target the other day and all I got was a lousy hula skirt...don't ask. Lola, what a lucky girl to have all those Target balls to play with!

Sherman & Penny...I wish I was there to squirrel hunt with you.

Lots of Licks, Ruby

Oh Sherman and Penny you need to get that squirell. Hey my mom went to target the other day and didn't get me those tennis balls. I just asked her and she said she saw them. Well then why didn't she buy them for me I wonder. Lola you are lucky.

Oh my goodness - look at all those GLORIOUS tennis balls!!!!! My sister ate one last night, so I'm due for another couple dozen...!

Good luck on the squirrel. Our just sit up there and chatter at us. They've never fallen out of the tree onto our (proverbial) plates....

OH! We have evil squirrels too!! They jump from tree to tree, just taunting me by pretending to almost fall, then grabbing another tree and running away. Eeeeeeeevil.

Squirrels are fun, but baby birds are even better! We love this time of year.

That was the cocker spaniels talking. Yes, they love to "hunt" baby birds. Every now and then, we'll find one that fell out of the nest hiding in the yard and we'll put it back. So far, they haven't caught any, but...

Last year my little dacshie sister caught a squirrel!!! Mom was totally grossed out, espcially when my sister insisted on bringinit in the house. Mom got her to drop it and then called Dad to come home and get rid of it. I have to agree that it was gross, but really funny watching the look on Mom's face when she figured out what it was.
I think I need to send my Mom to Target. The tennis balls I stole frrom the neighbors all got stolen back.

I always see squirrels outside, I want to play with them, but mommy never lets me. I never thought about eating one, bet they would make a tasty treat!

Looks like you all had an awesome time outside!
